Meal Plan 26/06/17

This week is hopefully going to go much more smoothly than last week. My youngest ended up in the hospital Thursday night so we had no time for a couple of days to make what I had scheduled, but instead, we ended up just making Pizza. Yummy. This Saturday we are throwing a BBQ which I cannot wait for, I just hope the weather holds out.

Meal Plan:

Gammon, Egg and Chips

Cottage Pie

Balsamic Chicken with Veggies

Pesto Pasta

Chicken Honey and Mustard Sauce with Bulgur

BBQ

Baked Potato with leftovers

Family Is Everything

Over the past few days, the girls and now us have not been feeling at all great. Instead of spending time today writing on my blog I thought I would just post up a quote that I came across. My family are everything so when they are feeling rotten, I will do my best to make things better which will consist of lots of hugs.

Meal Plan 19/06/17

Over the weekend as a family, we have decided to up our weekly shopping budget to £90. This includes all nappies, wipes, toiletries, household items, drinks and even my hair dye and makeup when I need to restock. The likelihood is we won't reach that figure because I like to do my shopping for as little as possible, but it just means over the year the total budgeted won't be a single penny more.

Meal Plan:

Caramelised Onion Quiche with Salad

Moroccan Meatballs with Couscous

Butternut Squash, Chorizo and Couscous Salad

Homemade Chicken Kievs, New Potatoes and Green Beans

Thai Butternut Squash Curry

Gnocchi with Tomato and Basil Sauce

Pie with Vegetables and Gravy

Siblings - What's The Right Age Gap?

Is it better to have siblings close in age, or with a bit of a gap?

The answer to this differs with everyone because the right age gap will vary from family to family. Some families might wait to have a second or third child because of their financial situations, being mentally and physically ready for another, or because of a child's temperament.
