Our Rustic Kitchen Furniture

Is it just me or do you get excited about furniture especially the rustic, homely kind?

When we moved into out house a couple of years a go we knew we wanted to get some rustic kitchen furniture but sometimes it can cost a fair bit to get what you want. After saving up the one thing we wanted to spend money on was the kitchen table because it would be where we entertained the most.

After looking at many companies we decided to go with Peppermill Antiques and went with the 3ft x 6ft Oak and Pine Country Farmhouse style table, with a painted base and a single drawer. We then chose the Late Victorian Rush Seat Chapel Chairs. Each chair has a rear bible box and they are ideal for any country kitchen. (They have now sold out but similar chairs are still available.)

Whilst looking online I came across a gorgeous Butchers Block that was for sale by Rustic Warehouse. My husband has always wanted one and with our kitchen being quite large we were able to fit one in, as well as a dresser that I saw in the warehouse.

I think the kitchen is probably my favourite room of the house.
