Gousto Food Box

Within our busy household I have a desire to create delicious home cooked food, but it can take time with finding recipes, shopping for everything that is required and trying to manage the cooking times, all this with two little ones that crave my attention.

Gousto try and take some of the pressure away by delivering to your door pre-portioned ingredients that create between 1-4 recipes for 2/4 people. There are 12 recipes each week that you can pick for delivery and along with the ingredients you also receive the recipe cards. All you have to do is follow the steps then cook and enjoy.

I decided to choose the four recipe box for two people at £41.99 (£5.25 per portion). The recipes I chose were the Beets Burger, Green and Blacks Chicken Mole, Cheesy Baked Fish with Courgette Salad and Speedy Minted Lamb and Feta Bulgur.

What I love about Gousto is that I can pick from recipes that I would not normally go for and be creative. There is no waste at the end of it and the portion sizes are very generous, so much so that Mabel was able to share a meal or two with us. Each of the recipes we tried were really tasty and a favourite in this household was the Beet Burgers. Yummy.

The one slight downside for me is that my sink gets filled up with numerous pots, pans, and bowls, all for just making one meal. This, therefore, means I am spending a little bit longer in the evenings tidying up.

I also had a slight problem when my box arrived. One of the ingredients had not been sealed tightly and spilled into the box, but I did manage to save some of it and the customer service team were extremely apologetic.

Why not try it for yourself, even just for one week with this £25 discount off your first box.
