My Weekly Washing With Ecover

This week I have been taking part in the #EcoverLaundry Challenge with Britmums and Ecover. In my household, I am one of those people that tend to do washing EVERY single day. I would leave it for the weekend but due to not having a dryer and the weather, drying the clothes takes a little while, and so it has to be spread out through the week to make sure everything gets done. Having two toddlers that like to create mess means there is a constant flow of it.

My routine starts at the beginning of the week when I try and make sure I get at least 1 load of washing done, sometimes two. I have to get this done by midday to allow time for everything to dry, so sometimes a load of washing may end up on a quick wash if nothing in the load is stained. The plan for the next day is generally the same and by the weekend the idea is to have the majority of it all done.

I say that's the idea but the reality is it seems washing is a never-ending process, so I really need to have a laundry detergent that actually works, smells nice and will not bring out Mabel's eczema. It is why Ecover Non-Bio has made life so much better this week. For a start, it actually removed stains which I find some detergents that are sensitive on the skin don't do. Plus, the house smells really nice and just clean from the Lavender and Sandalwood fragrance, and at no point did I see Mabel's eczema flare up. Winning.

Ecover is a non-bio concentrated laundry detergent formula that is tough on stains, sensitive on the skin and can be used on everything from delicate clothing to bedding. This plant-based formula also delivers spotlessly clean results, even on a cold wash. It is so perfect for all the family that 89% of Mumsnet raters would recommend it to a friend.

I have to say Ecover did pleasantly surprise me with how good it was and will be something for me to think about when doing my weekly shops. I also would recommend it to anyone who suffers with sensitive skin, because it did not cause a reaction with Mabel, and she is extremely sensitive. The only niggle I have is the price, but when it's on offer it will be a must to buy.
