I have been getting in a bit of trouble recently with my husband as I always seem to be nipping out to the shops to get ‘random stuff‘ apparently, but this month he couldn’t say no to my little mini clothing shopping spree because it was for my birthday. So here I will share with you what I got.
I picked up this bird print top because I needed to add some patterns to my wardrobe. As it is see through you would need to pair it with a plain top underneath. I wore this with some plain jeans and trainers for that overall casual look.
Black Crepe Jacket
Dorothy Perkins £28
This jacket is long, has 3/4 length sleeves and is extremely comfortable. I have worn this with just about any outfit and for me, it creates that all important finishing touch.
Blush Border Floral Tunic
Dorothy Perkins £22
I love how feminine this top is with its floral pattern. When paired with some nice black jeans it makes a great going out outfit. It is a bit tight around the chest area so a bigger size might be better.
Dark Mid Skinny Jeans
Jeans are the worst product for me to buy because my sizing seems to change in every shop. It is not great for your self-esteem after having a baby. These jeans fit perfectly and because they are of a stretchy material, I feel I probably could have even got away with the next size down. They are also great with heels or just casual shoes.
Floral Chiffon Back Tee – Ecru
This oversized top is comfortable and cool to wear, especially in these hotter days that have been upon us. The long patterned back turns the top into a lovely summer piece which would be perfect to wear over a plain top or bikini, as it is see through.
White Rib Vest
This is a simple plain vest top that is perfect to go underneath all the tops I bought. Before buying it I was worried it might be a bit short in length, but I was pleasantly surprised, it was just right.
