As you would of seen in a previous post I talked about the charity Action Medical Research. If you did not see it I will give you a brief description of what they do.
Action Medical Research is a charity that has been running since 1952 and they fund medical research to beat conditions that devastate the lives of babies and children. At the moment they are funding the research around stillbirth, epilepsy, meningitis, cerebral palsy and brain cancer, as well as some rare conditions that affect children.
Back in June they organised a cream tea in a box scheme where across the country these boxes were being delivered to schools, homes and workplaces. It was extremely popular and so they have decided to do another one.
Inside each of the boxes contains scones, Tiptree strawberry jam, Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream and three strawberry creme chocolates, as well as Yorkshire tea, knife and serviette. All this for £6.
You only have until Thursday 30th July to order your cream tea and it will be delivered to your door on Friday 7th August. There is a minimum order of 10 boxes, so get friends and family together or order some for your work and help those sick children and babies.
Even Paddington Bear likes a good scone topped with marmalade, his favourite.
Go on, order yours today!
