That’s right. Mabel has finished her first year of Preschool!
I am so incredibly proud of her and how much she has grown within this short time. I think it was definitely the right decision to send her as soon as she turned 2 because she has gained so much independence and has learned an incredible amount.
It was noted that Mabel was behind in her speech and language skills, but with the help of the preschool, she has improved a lot. I think it really helps that she just loves being there. She enjoys painting, cooking, reading, the mud kitchen, sandpit, being outside and playing with all her friends. It is adorable seeing it.
She has only been attending 2 mornings a week, but the change has been nice because it has allowed me to be able to spend some time with Martha, and also get us all into a good routine.
September will roll around quickly I know, and with that will bring a little bit of difference where Mabel will be attending preschool for 1 1/2 days. Then the term after Christmas will bring a new challenge for me as both my girls will be going, Mabel for 2 1/2 days and Martha 2 mornings a week.
But, for now, I am trying to capture every minute I can because children just grow up way too quickly.
How did your little ones cope with Preschool?
